The aim of this role is secure four or five major strategic partnerships with the University – long-term partnerships that work from graduate, masters, postgraduate, apprenticeship, research, innovation, translation and application. In effect embedding that organisation in all of the Universities activities. The relationship is a mutual one of ideas and talent supply, capital and in-kind contributions to strengthen the core strategies of the University.

Simon says: “I am in the process of developing partnerships with companies such as Siemens, strengthening existing partnerships with the Port of Dover and ferry companies as well as seeking new partnerships in culture/creative, health and data science. Not just commercial organisations but Non-Governmental Organisations as well to ensure the partnerships are truly cross-disciplinary. I look forward to building on work with colleagues in RIS and Divisions to see this happen, any questions, please ask.”
