Future Human appeared at bOing! Festival 2022, which took place at the Gulbenkian, Canterbury Campus on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 August 2022. This was all about inspiring children to take part in arts and crafts activities and to create how they think humans might use and interact with technology in the next 30 years. We’re curating their work into a growing gallery over the festival.
Over 130 participants attended the Future Human workshops and created artwork that contributed to a growing gallery that expanded over the two days of the festival. Creations included humans wearing flying suits and nature inspired fashion, through to visions of a more dystopian future where spare brains can be rented and ID chips are implanted. More information on the workshops, including a gallery of the individual pieces of work can be found on the Future Human website and blog.
