{"id":13,"date":"2022-02-11T14:03:43","date_gmt":"2022-02-11T14:03:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/revaluing-the-life-model-symposium\/?page_id=13"},"modified":"2022-03-13T22:05:47","modified_gmt":"2022-03-13T22:05:47","slug":"getting-here","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/revaluing-the-life-model-symposium\/getting-here\/","title":{"rendered":"Getting Here"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4 class=\"entry-title\"><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>If you are travelling on foot from Canterbury West Station:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">You can walk from Canterbury West train station (about 25-30 minutes).\u00a0Turn left out of the station and walk to the end of the road.\u00a0Just after the \u2018Goods Shed\u2019 on your left, take the footpath on the left and take the subway under the railway line.\u00a0The University is signposted on blue signs from here and ascending the Eliot footpath onto campus.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>If you are\u00a0travelling by bus to the University of Kent from:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Canterbury City Centre Bus Station<\/strong> \u2014 There are regular bus services (Uni 1 and Uni 2) that will take approximately 14 minutes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Canterbury East Train Station<\/strong> \u2014 Turn right straight outside the station (do not cross the bridge opposite the station) and follow the road to the bus stop using the regular bus service (Uni 1 and Uni 2).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Canterbury West Train Station<\/strong> \u2014 \u00a0Turn right and walk to the end of the road, cross the road at the zebra crossing and the bus stop is on the left using the regular bus service (Uni 1 and Uni 2).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">You should alight at <strong>Keynes<\/strong> bus stop.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>If you are travelling by taxi:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Fares from the city centre to the University are between \u00a35-10 and the journey will take between 5-10 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>For more travel information click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/locations\/canterbury\/directions.html\">here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>For a map of the campus click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/maps\/canterbury\/canterbury-campus\/building\/grimond-building\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Accessibility<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">All the venues for the conference have disabled access.
