Advanced Training workshops

Kent offers a wide range of advanced training workshops, delivered by Kent’s world class researchers who are drawn from across a range of disciplines. The workshops are not necessarily discipline specific, but instead explore topics that are of interest to researchers  in social, natural and medical sciences, as well as the arts and humanities.

Workshops are free for Kent PGRs and Staff. Please note some of the workshops are targeted to a PGR audience.

 

Upcoming workshop topics include:

  • Principles of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), 9th -11th May, 10-5pm each day
  • Fieldwork in Challenging Circumstances, 13th May, 9-6pm
  • New Directions in Visual Methodologies, 17th May, 9-5pm
  • Introduction to Health Research 3: Research Study Design and Management, 8th July, 1-4pm
  • R (4-day workshop), 4th, 5th, 8th and 9th August, 9:30-4:30 each day
