Interpreting Statistics

This week’s video is about interpreting statistics with Dr Diana Cole. She teaches MA025 Foundation Statistics taught in Autumn and Spring and this video is also relevant for everyone taking MA306 Statistics, which is a Spring term module for all first year SMSAS students.

Statistics is the study of how to collect, organise, analyse and interpret numerical information from data. Throughout your course at Kent you will learn about all of these components. In the video below we will discuss interpreting statistics.

Recommended further reading in preparation for statistics models is Chapter 36 Descriptive Statistics in the HELM Workbooks.
