Please note that the changes listed below have taken effect in the month prior to publication, unless specified otherwise.
The following changes have recently been applied to the Universities Policies, Procedures and Examination Guidance:
- Academic Diligence Procedures have been replaced with the Student Attendance and Engagement Policy available at: https://www.kent.ac.uk/education/regulatory-framework/policies-and-procedures-examinations-guidance#attendance-engagement
The following changes have recently been applied to the Credit Framework:
- Annex 9: (Mitigation of Extenuating Circumstances): Minor update to reflect the change from Diligence Procedures to Student Attendance and Engagement Policy.
- Annex 10 (Academic Misconduct Policies and Procedures): Minor updates to Appendix A, bringing exemplar penalties in line with updated version of Annex 10.
Website Updates:
- External Examiner Report Submission System (EERSS) has been upgraded and the website updated: https://www.kent.ac.uk/education/external-examiners-and-advisors/external-examiner-report-submission
- The old FSO website (kent.ac.uk/fso) has been taken down and redirects put in place.
General updates:
All Regulatory Framework documents have been updated in December to include new Kent’s branding and weblinks, where appropriate. No other changes to the content had been made unless specified.
