What\u2019s your favourite part about teaching\/interacting with students?<\/strong><\/p>\n My favourite part about teaching is when we do interactive elements in the lectures, and I get to hear all the wonderful ideas that our students have about the future of mental health and how things should work.<\/p>\n What’s your favourite thing about your course\/the course you teach?<\/strong><\/p>\n I love that in Clinical Psychology we are able to step back and think creatively, positively and critically together about the field of mental health.<\/p>\n Why did you choose Kent?<\/strong><\/p>\n I did my undergraduate degree here many years ago and fell in love with the campus, the sense of community we have and the surrounding area. It a beautiful place to study and work.<\/p>\n What’s your favourite thing about Kent?<\/strong><\/p>\n The bunnies! I love it when I spot a bunny rabbit hopping around on my way to my office or a lecture! It grounds me in the awe of nature and always puts a smile on my face!<\/p>\n What tips can you give to freshers when they are first starting University?<\/strong><\/p>\n “I remember being told as a fresher that if someone asks you if you have tried something yet you should answer not yet<\/em>, rather than no<\/em>!”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n I think its great advice to get stuck in and give everything a go – there is so much at your fingertips to try out and that is not so easy when you graduate.<\/p>\n What advice would you give your past self when you were first starting University and would you do anything differently?<\/strong><\/p>\n Play hard as well as work hard!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
