Businesses included Meta- Lucid, SHL, NatWest and Arup.

Arup is a British multinational professional services firm headquartered in London that provides design, engineering, architecture, planning, and advisory services across every aspect of the built environment.

Catalina Dascalescu along with her teammates Sarah Lily Resanovich, Kate Enslin and Martin Ganchev, were assigned to solve the challenge for ARUP. The challenge was about Allyship and especially how to measure it within and between individuals in order to create a more inclusive organisational environment.

‘Each team had a designated Pro Coach Angel that guided us throughout the process. We had Christopher Benton CPBP, MIoD, M.Sc. as our mentor. The contest took 12 weeks, and after being shortlisted in the top 5 teams, we had to present our poster and our recommended solutions to the judges, which were from the 4 corporate businesses alongside with the ABP judge board. The presentation took place online, and it was an amazing opportunity to work with real life businesses, solving and researching a real life business problem. After the presentation, we were invited by the ARUP team to present our findings in a longer session with an invited and interested ARUP audience in their office.
