Here&#8217;s a look back in stats. <\/p>\n<p>As a treat we&#8217;ve compiled the best statistics across our School, as well as our best blogs and stories of 2022.<\/p>\n<p>And before you ask, no, we haven&#8217;t just ripped-off a <em>popular music streaming service<\/em>&#8216;s campaign.. (not completely anyway).<span id=\"sample-permalink\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Psych-Wrapped 2022!<\/h2>\n<p>We held 4 graduations this year, celebrating the Class of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/politics-international-relations\/news\/4591\/congratulations-interrupted\"><strong>2020<\/strong><\/a>, <a style=\"background-color: #ffffff\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/politics-international-relations\/news\/4736\/congradulations\"><strong>2021<\/strong><\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/politics-international-relations\/news\/5401\/youre-a-class-of-2022-act\"><strong>2022<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Our most-watched Insta Reel had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/CdGC6Yjprvt\/\"><strong>14.4K views<\/strong><\/a> and our most-liked Insta Reel had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/Cht63wSDKEE\/\"><strong>442 likes<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We wrote 97 blogs this year and 8 were about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/news\/4113\/introducing-the-conspiracy-generator\"><strong>conspiracy theories<\/strong><\/a>! But with one blog it was love at first read.. our Most Read Blog Award goes to <strong>&#8220;<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/news\/4828\/trustai-exploring-how-and-when-humans-outsource-moral-decisions-to-ai-agents\"><strong>Outsourcing Moral Decisions to AI<\/strong><\/a><strong>&#8220;<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4>In 2022 we explored many categories, but here were our top 5:<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/files\/2022\/12\/spotify-wrapped-2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4963\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/files\/2022\/12\/spotify-wrapped-2.png\" alt=\"wrapped\" width=\"550\" height=\"367\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Our year can&#8217;t be contained in a playlist (of blogs), but we tried anyway.<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/news\/3773\/dominic-abrahams-goes-psycho-schizo-espresso-with-iron-maiden\"><strong>January<\/strong><\/a> we went Psycho Schizo Espresso with Iron Maiden.<\/li>\n<li>We forgot what happened in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/news\/3885\/forgetfulness-a-symptom-of-covid\"><strong>February<\/strong><\/a>&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/news\/3990\/introducing-the-clinical-associate-psychologist-degree-apprenticeship\"><strong>March<\/strong><\/a> we launched the CAP Degree Apprenticeship<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/news\/4052\/balance-organ-stimulation-as-a-parkinsons-treatment\"><strong>April<\/strong><\/a> was cause for celebration with groundbreaking Parkinson\u2019s research<\/li>\n<li>We embraced cringe in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/news\/4211\/in-defence-of-being-cringe\"><strong>May<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li>In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/news\/4341\/reconnecting-with-the-community\"><strong>June<\/strong><\/a> we celebrated Pride and reconnected with the community<\/li>\n<li>Alumna Rianna Patterson received the 2022 Diana Award in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/news\/4379\/kent-psychology-alumni-receives-the-2022-diana-award\"><strong>July<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li>In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/news\/4470\/new-book-chapter-shines-a-light-on-sexual-violence-perpetration-in-higher-education\"><strong>August<\/strong><\/a> Sam Hales published an important new book chapter<\/li>\n<li>In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/news\/4652\/its-lit-fighting-incel-radicalisation-and-extremism\"><strong>September<\/strong><\/a> we fought\u00a0incel radicalisation and extremism with memes<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/news\/4701\/aleksandra-cichocka-interview-individual-and-collective-narcissism\"><strong>October<\/strong><\/a> was all about us after our narcissism podcast<\/li>\n<li>We let machines call the shots in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/news\/4828\/trustai-exploring-how-and-when-humans-outsource-moral-decisions-to-ai-agents\"><strong>November<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li>And what do we do in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/CmPN3deMfab\/\"><strong>December<\/strong><\/a> when all our deadlines are approaching?!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>TV shows we&#8217;ve loved<\/h2>\n<h4>Have you seen <a href=\"https:\/\/media.netflix.com\/en\/only-on-netflix\/80197526\">Sex Education<\/a>?<\/h4>\n<p>Kirsty Gravestock represented the School at Pride Canterbury in June, talking about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/news\/4270\/hss-at-pride-canterbury\"><strong>parasocial<\/strong> <strong>contact<\/strong><\/a> with LGBTQ+ characters in the TV show<i>.<\/i><\/p>\n<h4>And you MUST have seen <a href=\"https:\/\/media.netflix.com\/en\/only-on-netflix\/81059939\">Heartstopper<\/a>?!<\/h4>\n<p>Dr Lindsey Cameron and Kirsty Gravestock described it as nothing short of <i>radical\u00a0<\/i>and<i>\u00a0just<\/i> what the world needs. Here&#8217;s our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/news\/4173\/a-love-letter-to-heartstopper\"><strong>Love Letter to Heartstopper<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Best brain tips<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Exercise, socialise, and antioxidise &#8211; just a few we took from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/news\/3977\/five-tips-to-maintain-a-healthy-brain\"><strong>Brain Awareness Week<\/strong><\/a> in March.<\/li>\n<li>Be mindful and hold a raisin!
