We were able to catch up with them informally, announce this year&#8217;s prize winners and raise a toast to their achievements. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/news\/4387\/celebrating-the-class-of-2022\">View the photos<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>The Darker Side to Tik-Tok<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Research from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/people\/327\/gonidis-lazaros\">Lazaros Gonidis<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/people\/242\/sharma-dinkar\">Dr Dinkar Sharma<\/a> published in the Journal of Applied Social Psychology looks into how people perceive time spent on Facebook and suggests it really is making us lose track of time. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/news\/4420\/does-time-speed-up-on-tiktok\">Learn more<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Prize winners!<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Making an impact: Kent Alumna Rianna Patterson founder of the Dominica Dementia Foundation receives the prestigious 2022 Diana Award for her commitment to Dementia. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/news\/4379\/kent-psychology-alumni-receives-the-2022-diana-award\">More here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Bjarki Gronfeldt, PhD candidate in Political Psychology has been awarded the International Society for Political Psychology\u2019s Roberta Sigel Early Career Member Award for his co-authored paper exploring how collective narcissism was a factor in the general public\u2019s response to Covid 19 measures. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/news\/4392\/bjarki-gronfeldt-wins-ispp-roberta-sigel-award\">Learn more about the award<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>It was a bumper year for HSS at the Research and Innovation Prizes.
