To start conversations across various disciplines, often interconnected and have wide concern among the disciplines of Economics, Politics and International Relations, Psychology and Social Anthropology and Conversation.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The motivation behind KCWA is to encourage a dialogue between interdisciplinary research.&#8217; co-founder<a href=\"https:\/\/research.kent.ac.uk\/conflict-analysis\/person\/giulia_grillo\/\"> Giulia Grillo<\/a> told us &#8216;We aim to provide stepping stones for early career researchers to kickstart their academic career.<br \/>\nBesides providing a platform for various ideas, we are currently looking for roles to be filled. We are looking for individuals who are especially interested in editing blogs and hosting or editing podcasts. It aims to provide a space for all topics \u2013 from war and conflict, to the market, to global climate change, to the cells in our bodies.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_3587\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3587\" style=\"width: 540px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/files\/2021\/10\/Giulia_Louise_KCWA.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-3587\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/files\/2021\/10\/Giulia_Louise_KCWA.jpg\" alt=\"Giulia and Louise. \" width=\"540\" height=\"372\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-3587\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Giulia and Louise are looking for other PhD collaborators from across the division to get involved in KCWA.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&#8216;It is often hard for early career researchers to get their work out into the world. KCWA makes this easier.\u00a0 This initiative seeks to make our research easily accessible to a wider audience. Moreover, being PhD-led, it also intends to be an open and supportive space for PhDs to contribute and share their knowledge.&#8217; co-founder <a href=\"https:\/\/research.kent.ac.uk\/conflict-analysis\/person\/anna-marie-louise-tiessen\/\">Anna-Marie-Louise Tiessen<\/a> explained. &#8216;We are just getting started and we are excited to have you on board!&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>KCWA wants to start a conversation, with the aim of disseminating our research using various channels:<br \/>\n\u2022 website: hosting sections with longer (e.g. essays and reports) or shorter (blogs and commentaries) forms of writing;<br \/>\n\u2022 podcast and other public events;<br \/>\n\u2022 follow KWCA on <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KCWAatKent\">Twitter<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/kcwaatkent\/\">Instagram.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Call for collaborators<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Need to get your idea out but it is still too early for a journal article? Need to talk about something in more depth?
