The <a href=\"https:\/\/teams.microsoft.com\/l\/meetup-join\/19%3ameeting_Y2UzMmIxZGItZGI2My00MjYxLWI5NTEtMzZmZGY2YjkxZWFh%40thread.v2\/0?context=%7b%22Tid%22%3a%2251a9fa56-3f32-449a-a721-3e3f49aa5e9a%22%2c%22Oid%22%3a%22b8d70dd3-e6e0-42ce-8fbd-52457922387d%22%7d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">event<\/a> will run from 18:00-19:45 with the opportunity to ask the speakers questions at the end of the event.<\/p>\n<h2>Panellists include:<\/h2>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/people\/3609\/travers-hill-emma\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Emma Travers-Hill<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<p>I started out my career in clinical research and following my PhD went onto my Clinical Doctorate. Since qualifying, I have worked as a Clinical Psychologist in secondary care adult mental health services. More recently, I have been working at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">university<\/a> as a lecturer and have been setting up an honorary contract with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhs.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NHS<\/a> to continue a little clinical work locally.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/daniela-zigova-msc-9560a516b\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Daniela Zigova<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">I graduated from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University of Kent<\/a> in 2018 with a degree in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/courses\/undergraduate\/49\/psychology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Psychology<\/a>. After graduating, I spent some time volunteering and landed my first job in primary mental health services for adults in Kent. I am currently working as a Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner in an IAPT service in Bromley, where I provide CBT-based psychological interventions to adults with depression and anxiety disorders.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/emma-bannister-55a35a184\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Emma Bannister<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<p>I have been working as a Research Officer at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ons.gov.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Office for National Statistics<\/a> (ONS) for just over a year. I am also badged to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/organisations\/civil-service-government-social-research-profession\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Government Social Research profession<\/a> which is one of 8 professions in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/organisations\/government-analysis-function\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Government Analysis Function<\/a>. Currently, I am working in data collection however Research Officers at the ONS can work in a variety of roles including the production of statistics, conducting qualitative research and using admin data.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/alexandria-olton-12404596\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Alexandria Olton<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<p>A qualified Sport and Exercise psychologist, the Director of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mindologytt.com\/about\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mindology Trinidad<\/a> and sports columnist for <a href=\"https:\/\/newsday.co.tt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Trinidad and Tobago Newsday<\/a>. Alexandria works with a wide range of clients from Olympic level athletes to juniors and grassroots, in developing positive mental skills and achieving optimal performance.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/sarah-sodimu-mbpss-242749179\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Sarah Sodimu<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<p>&#8220;I work as an Assistant Psychologist in Paediatric Psychology and am doing my masters in Research in Clinical Psychology.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/kyle-sherry-ab957b151\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Kyle Sherry<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<p>&#8220;After graduating from the University of Kent in 2018, I pursued a Master\u2019s degree in Occupational Psychology. The content of this course, paired with my undergraduate degree, led me into a Change Management role within a local government setting. From here I moved into the Civil Service, where I currently work as an Insight &amp; Service Design Manager at the Health &amp; Safety Executive.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/annie-hastings-5310b9120\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Annie Hastings<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<p><em>&#8220;<\/em>I am a mental health adviser with Mind, the mental health charity. I have experience working in the mental health sector in both charitable organisations and within the NHS.
