The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/research\/social\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">social psychology research group<\/a> at Kent is a leading centre for social psychological research in Europe. The group is comprised of internationally renowned researchers who have established a worldwide reputation for their research.<\/p>\n<p>The School of Psychology is currently inviting applications for a cross-disciplinary PhD research scholarship in <strong>social psychology<\/strong> and <strong>politics<\/strong> to to commence in September 2017. This scholarship will take the form of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/scholarships\/search\/FNADVICECH02\" target=\"_blank\">Vice Chancellor&#8217;s Research Scholarships<\/a> administered under the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/scholarships\/search\/FNADGTA00001\" target=\"_blank\">Graduate Teaching Assistant Scheme<\/a>. The awardee will work on the quantitative testing of social banditry theories supervised by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/people\/travaglinog\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Dr Giovanni Travaglino<\/a> (primary supervisor, School of Psychology), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/politics\/staff\/canterbury\/toros.html\" target=\"_blank\">Dr Harmonie Toros<\/a> (co-supervisor in the School of Politics and International Relations), and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/people\/abramsd\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Professor Dominic Abrams<\/a> (co-supervisor in the School of Psychology).<\/p>\n<p><strong>For\u00a0full details about the project and how to apply, please see the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/psychology\/pg\/Psychology-of-banditry-GTA2017.html\" target=\"_blank\">advertisement<\/a>.
