The Covid-19 pandemic has influenced many areas of life, including our memory. Comment by Dr Amir-Homayoun Javadi.
This recent article in CNN Health suggests that Instead of being hard on yourself when you are drawing a blank, neuroscientists have explained how forgetfulness is a symptom for all of us during the pandemic.
“We tend to habituate and get used to situations,” said Dr Amir-Homayoun Javadi “The situation for the past two years has pushed us to not do much and not to plan. And getting too used to life in this time can mean cognitive damage, memory disruption and trouble maintaining attention.”
