Researchers from the School of Psychology are looking for people with a vestibular disorder to take part in a survey study about their experiences during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Living with a vestibular disorder during the Covid-19 pandemic (research survey)

Researchers from the University of Kent are looking for people with vestibular (inner ear balance) disorders to tell them about their experiences during Covid-19.

You are eligible to participate if you:

  • Have a diagnosed vestibular disorder
    Such as BPPV, Labyrinthitis, Ménière’s disease, Vestibular migraine, Vestibular neuritis, Mal de Débarquement
  • Are aged 18 or older
  • Live in the UK

What is the study about?

The study is investigating the impact that the Covid-19 pandemic has had on daily activities, employment, and access to clinical care amongst people with a vestibular disorder.

The survey results will help us understand the experiences of people with vestibular disorders during the current pandemic, and highlight strategies to improve support for work and daily life going forward.

What does the study involve?

The study involves an online survey that will take approximately 20-25 minutes to complete. The survey will close in July.
