Kristof Dhont, Senior Lecturer in Psychology and founder and director of SHARKLab, investigates the factors shaping people’s perceptions and thinking about animals, the complexities and paradoxes in human-animal relations, and the moral psychology of eating and exploiting animals.
Acknowledging that changing dietary habits can be challenging, he suggests some ways to help a determination to ‘go vegan’ this year more achievable, from finding a Vegan ‘buddy’ to dealing with potentially hostile conversations about a change in diet with friends and family.
