Many congratulations to Professor Roger Giner-Sorolla, who will be taking over the role of Editor of the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology on 1 January 2016. Roger has been an Associate Editor since 2013 and is currently co-editing a special issue for JESP involving pre-registered research. The role involves deciding on submitted manuscripts’ suitability, assigning manuscripts to associated editors, and setting policy for the journal at a high level.
JESP is one of the top research journals in Social Psychology, most recently ranked #12 out of 60 in the field by Thompson Reuters JCR, with a 5-year impact factor of 3.14.
Apparently, Roger’s first published paper in 1994 was in JESP, reporting the results of his Master’s thesis project.
