Around 50 people attended an event at the University of Kent on 18 June to discuss the developing situation in Turkey. The meeting, which included short documentaries about the protest in Gezi Park and accounts from eyewitnesses, was sponsored by Contention: the Multidisciplinary Journal of Social Protest, The Interdisciplinary Network of Social Protest Research (INSPR), and IOPS Kent.
