We are pleased to announce two new professional training courses in restorative justice and in conflict analysis and mediation.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Restorative Justice in Practice: Repairing Harm and Rebuilding Relationships <\/span><\/b><\/a>is an<\/span> interactive and evidence-informed course.\u00a0It offers a practical and critical understanding of restorative justice principles and how these can be adapted and implemented in a variety of professional settings to help resolve staff conflict, address misconduct, support trauma recovery and respond to incidents of harm.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The course examines the core values, principles and processes of restorative justices, and explores different tools and techniques for its applications. It delves deeper into skill building in communication, conflict navigation and inclusive stakeholder engagement, and critically reflects on the <\/span>the emotional, institutional, and ethical dimensions of restorative justice practice<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Conflict Analysis, Resolution and Mediation Skills for Professionals <\/span><\/b><\/a>is a dynamic and practice-oriented training course. It offers a tailored introduction to the principles and tools of conflict analysis, resolution, and interpersonal mediation adapted to the real-world needs of professionals across sectors. Whether you are managing workplace dynamics, supporting frontline staff, navigating educational tensions, or handling service user disputes, this course is designed to respond to the challenges of your particular line of work.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The course explores different frameworks and practical tools for understanding and responding to conflict, and strategies for navigating difficult conversations with confidence, care and ethical awareness. It discusses how to foster psychologically safe, inclusive, and values-driven cultures of conflict resolution, and offers applied mediation and communication techniques, integrating relational practices with policy and procedure to support meaningful, sustainable change.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Both courses explore real-world scenarios in settings such as the NHS, education, criminal justice, the police force, social care and organisational leadership. Participants will engage with real-life case studies, develop restorative communication skills, and explore how to lead or support processes that focus on reparation, inclusion, and accountability.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Our course is developed by Dr Giuseppe Maglione, Director of the University of Kent’s <\/span>Restorative Justice Clinic<\/span><\/a>, and a team of experts with two decades of <\/span>applied experience<\/span><\/b> as restorative justice practitioners, researchers and trainers. \u00a0Duration can be either a full-day or two days, and the courses can be delivered in person or online.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
