UoK becomes a vetted training supplier for the public sector

We are delighted to announce that we are now a vetted training supplier for the public sector via Procurement Services of the Kent County Council.

Procurement Services have created a national framework agreement for the supply and delivery of training, learning and development solutions in accordance with Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR 2015). The framework extends to February 2029.

By successfully bidding for and being awarded on this framework, we can provide quality training to the public sector through a procurement process that is effective, transparent and compliant.

This award advances the University of Kent’s civic engagement mission and enables economic growth. It offers one of the most effective ways to support our local government authorities, the police service, the fire service, the NHS and NHS trusts, other blue light workers, housing associations, charities, schools, publicly funded organisations, publicly owned private companies and the public sector at large.

The Unviersity of Kent is the only academic supplier to be awarded on this framework.

Procurement Services was established in 2015 and is part of the Commercial Services Group, which is wholly owned by Kent County Council. CSG is one of the largest, local authority-owned, trading organisations of its kind in the UK, with the mission to deliver compliant routes to procurement for all public sector organisations. It is a leading supplier of procurement frameworks.
