{"id":614,"date":"2016-05-23T15:50:54","date_gmt":"2016-05-23T15:50:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/polir-news\/?p=614"},"modified":"2016-05-23T16:11:07","modified_gmt":"2016-05-23T16:11:07","slug":"school-ranked-5th-in-the-guardian-university-guide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/polir-news\/2016\/05\/23\/school-ranked-5th-in-the-guardian-university-guide\/","title":{"rendered":"School Ranked 5th in the Guardian University Guide"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"text\">\n<p>The School continues to rank as one of the best School&#8217;s of Politics and International Relations in the country, climbing to a position of 5th in the most recent <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/education\/ng-interactive\/2016\/may\/23\/university-league-tables-2017?#S350\" target=\"_blank\">Guardian University League Table<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The league table rankings, published on May 23rd, found the School above a number of Russell Group institutions including Durham, Bristol, King\u2019s College London and the LSE.<\/p>\n<p><em>The<\/em>\u00a0<em>Guardian University Guide<\/em>\u00a0is one of the most trusted and influential resources for students looking to study at university, with the subject table ranking over 75 politics departments across the UK.
