Downes (Hong Kong Metropolitan University\/Global Europe Centre) Man Hoo So (LSE) and Mathew Yee Hang Wong (The Education University of Hong Kong). The report deals with the most recent states of affairs in EU-China relations. It notes both a more interventionist policy by the EU and prudent rapprochement by China, with 2023 remaining a year of high uncertainty.<\/p>\n<p>The Global Europe Centre (GEC) is the University of Kent\u2019s research centre dealing with Europe and the challenges it faces in a rapidly changing world.
