Now, we&#8217;re letting the festivities in..<\/p>\n<h2>Spirited students<\/h2>\n<h4>The moon shall join your coalition!<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Valentine Basset chaired her first<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/politics-international-relations\/news\/5373\/ul-mun-a-chairs-experience\">Model United Nations Conference<\/a><\/strong>!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>She was warned&#8230;<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Benjamin Van Broeckhuijsen <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/politics-international-relations\/news\/5425\/bravermans-home-office-on-the-rocks-the-critical-migration-crisis-in-kent\">wrote<\/a><\/strong> about the government\u2019s handling of the Manston detention centre for student paper Inquire.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>The stakes could not be higher<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Joel Nugent explained the recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/politics-international-relations\/news\/5350\/the-2022-brazilian-election-lula-will-have-to-try-to-be-a-president-for-all-brazilians\"><strong>Presidential elections<\/strong><\/a> in Brazil and described the issues awaiting newly elected President Lula.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Savoir-faire<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Ninog Jouanno is completing the bi-national programme in partnership with the Institut d\u2019Etudes Politiques and reflects on her studies <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/politics-international-relations\/news\/5382\/studying-politics-and-international-relations-bi-diplome-ninog-jouanno\"><strong>so far&#8230;<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Triple bottom line<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>MA students Salomey Ali and Killa Zadva explored the potential for business partnerships in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/politics-international-relations\/news\/5412\/how-to-best-align-business-interests-with-community-growth\"><strong>peacebuilding space<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Acclaimed academics<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Senior politics lecturer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/politics-international-relations\/people\/511\/devellennes-charles\">Dr Charles Devellennes<\/a> launched a new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/politics-international-relations\/news\/5405\/book-launch-the-macron-regime-by-charles-devellennes\"><strong>book<\/strong><\/a>!
