The School of Politics and The POLIR Society present ‘Manifesto’, a feature length documentary about Walton CLP giving a first-hand account of grassroots community activism, depicting the work and effort that goes into party politics away from Westminster.<\/p>\n

‘Over three pivotal years in UK politics, Manifesto follows activists in the safest Labour seat in the country as they campaign for change.’<\/p>\n

Followed by an on line Q & A with Alan Gibbons, a Councillor who features the film.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alan an independent Councillor, was expelled from the Labour party<\/a> for being part of a group of rebel members who voted against local budget cuts. As Dr Ben Tuner<\/a> suggests,\u00a0<\/a><\/div>\n
