We were so proud to see so many of our staff recognised by students at Kent Union\u2019s Above and Beyond event this month.<\/p>\n
The Above and Beyond Awards were launched by\u00a0Kent Union<\/a>\u00a0to celebrate outstanding members of staff, both academic and non-academic. Students nominate staff who they believe have gone above and beyond in their role.<\/p>\n After a two year hiatus, due to the global pandemic, the event held to celebrate these staff had a bumper crop, with staff who had been nominated since 2020 in attendance.<\/p>\n Dr Kuzi Zigomo<\/a>, Dr Jane O Mahoney<\/a>, Dr Charles Devellennes<\/a> and Dr<\/a> Tim Aistrophe<\/a> pictured here, were all proud recipients of the covetable Above and Beyond red mug.<\/p>\n ‘Super pleased and deeply humbled to be nominated for such an award’ Zigomo responded ‘many thanks to the students who make teaching so fulfilling and rewarding’.<\/p>\n Congratulations to all of them!<\/p>\n If you know a member of staff who has gone above and beyond for students, you can nominate them\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
