A special issue of the online journal Frontiers in Political Science focusing on political trust has just been published. <\/p>\n

The special issue<\/a> was co-edited by Senior Lecturer in British and Comparative Politics, Dr Ben Seyd<\/a>, and contains eight peer-reviewed articles that address one of these key questions:<\/p>\n

  1. How should we conceive of trust and distrust in politics, and are there any other conditions that need identification and measurement?<\/li>\n
  2. What are the key factors contributing to citizens\u2019 trust judgments?<\/li>\n
  3. What are the consequences of trust for effective governance?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The special issue of the journal Frontiers in Political Science<\/a> also includes an Editors introduction, which outlines the contribution of each article and identifies key avenues for further research on trust.<\/p>\n
