Please see the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/coronavirus\">University Coronavirus pages<\/a> for the latest updates and FAQs for detailed information on how the University is responding and what it will mean for you.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you to those who send us messages with your concerns. We recognise that these are unprecedented and testing times.<\/p>\n<p>Following further discussion at School level, we are writing to inform you that all\u00a0remaining\u00a0<strong>coursework\u00a0submission deadlines for\u00a0this term will be moved back by 1\u00a0week<\/strong>.\u00a0This includes Friday\u2019s PO612 Reflective Report.<\/p>\n<p>The only exceptions to this are:<\/p>\n<p>PO679 Dissertation deadline \u2013 new deadline is 20<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0April 2020 (2-week extension to original deadline)<\/p>\n<p>PO325 Online Reading Quiz 4 \u2013 deadline will remain the same (Tuesday 31<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0March 2020)<\/p>\n<p>We have made this decision\u00a0to ensure that no student is disadvantaged by the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic and the disruption to your studies.<\/p>\n<p>The School operates a complex system of marking, moderation and external examiners\u2019 involvement. There are also strict University deadlines in place. We are committed to rigour and accuracy, and for these reasons it is imperative that we make any changes in a careful\u00a0and considered\u00a0manner. However, given the sheer scale of the coronavirus outbreak, it is right that we move\u00a0remaining\u00a0deadlines\u00a0back\u00a0by 1-week to address your concerns.<\/p>\n<p>We hope that this will provide some\u00a0relief at this worrying time and\u00a0that you will be able to complete your modules successfully.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The health and welfare of our students, staff and visitors is of utmost priority for the University.
