Events included a <strong>University Challenge<\/strong> event with three University of Kent Schools, our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=7chQnK_YDs4\">1st European election hustings<\/a>, hosting seven party representatives, and a <strong>European Culture Show<\/strong> following the logic of EU enlargement, as well as numerous thematic stalls.<\/p>\n<p>We also launched the <a href=\"documents\/kpa-europe-in-the-world.pdf\">1st Special Issue of the Kent Political Almanac \u2018Europe in the World\u2019 <\/a>and our Doctoral students \u2013 presented a printed edition of their <a href=\"documents\/student-forum-working-paper-europeanisation.pdf\">Europeanisation project<\/a> &#8211; our first GEC student workshop held back in October 2013, <em>\u2018All things to all people? Internal and external approaches to Europeanisation\u2019.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The University of Kent&#8217;s Vice Chancellor, Professor Dame Julia Goodfellow, commented on the Europe Day celebrations and the importance of Europe Day.
