The School continues to rank as one of the best School’s of Politics and International Relations in the country, climbing to a position of 5th in the most recent Guardian University League Table.
The league table rankings, published on May 23rd, found the School above a number of Russell Group institutions including Durham, Bristol, King’s College London and the LSE.
The Guardian University Guide is one of the most trusted and influential resources for students looking to study at university, with the subject table ranking over 75 politics departments across the UK. It’s the third year the School has been listed in the top 20, having been ranked 10th in last year’s league table and 16th in 2014.
The Guardian considers a number of factors when ranking UK universities, such as student satisfaction, graduate employment prospects and quality of teaching, with the School placing highest amongst the top 5 with students satisfied with their course.
Earlier this year, the School of Politics and International Relations was placed among the top 150 politics departments in the world in the QS World University Rankings by Subject.
