Dr Seán Molloy, Reader in International Relations at the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Kent, has been awarded the 2018 Sussex International Theory Prize from the Centre for Advanced International Theory at the University of Sussex for his most recent publication ‘Kant’s International Relations: The Political Theology of Perpetual Peace‘ (Ann Arbor: University of Michigan Press 2017). Dr Molloy was jointly awarded the 2018 Sussex International Theory Prize alongside Catherine Lu, Associate Professor of Political Science at McGill University for her publication: ‘Justice and Reconciliation in World Politics’.
As well as this prestigious award, Dr Molloy’s book on Kant has also been awarded the 2018 Susan Strange Book Prize by the British International Studies Association.
