Our dynamic seminar series returns, to enhance the research culture within the school and engage with new research in the field, both nationally and Internationally.

The School of Politics and International Relations Research Seminar Series (SPIRRS) is the School’s bi-weekly research seminar series held in term time, aimed primarily at staff and PG students, that invites guest speakers to discuss their on-going or recently published research, whether journal articles, papers or books.

It aims to enhance the research culture within the School; to publicise and engage with new research in the discipline and field at large; to enhance the national and international profile, which due to the burgeoning acceptance of on line gatherings post pandemic we can really take advantage of.
