Dr Tom Casier, Director of the Global Europe Centre, has published a new article in the journal Democratization, entitled ‘Russia and the diffusion of political norms. The perfect rival?’.
The piece explores Russia’s role as norm diffuser and norm contester. It argues that rather than being the EU’s perfect normative mirror image, Russia is a complex and ambiguous norm diffuser.
