Taking care of your wellbeing

The University buildings may be currently closed due to the COVID-19 virus, but Student Support and University support systems are still available for you to contact. Our in-School Student Support team have put together some resources to help you take care of your wellbeing during this difficult time, as well as reminders on who to contact when you need a helping hand.

Looking after your wellbeing can help you deal with pressure and the impact that stress can have on your life. Developing emotional resilience can help us to adapt well in the face of adversity, and is something we can all take steps to achieve:

If you are struggling with your studies and want to talk to someone, you can get in touch with:

The University Student Support and Wellbeing Team are available for remote support. You can email them on wellbeing@kent.ac.uk if you would like a wellbeing practitioner to get in touch with you. They are also sharing lots of resources and links on their Instagram account.

Your Academic Adviser- you can check who your adviser is by logging into SDS and check the ‘My Details’ tab.

The module convenor or your seminar leader if you need help with your module.

The POLIR Student Support team are also available via email to provide you with any further help and assistance.
