Coronavirus School Update 2, Wednesday 25 March

The health and welfare of our students, staff and visitors is of utmost priority for the University. Please see the University Coronavirus pages for the latest updates and FAQs for detailed information on how the University is responding and what it will mean for you.

Dear Students, We hope that you and your families and friends are healthy and safe.

In these tough times, we recognise that many of you are feeling anxious about your forthcoming exams and we are writing to you to provide some reassurance.

First of all, as you probably know the policy on exams is set by the University, not the School. The University is working on guidance for online exams and this will be sent out as soon as possible and hopefully by early next week. Keep checking your emails.

Second, as soon as the University guidance is available, we will provide some School-specific guidance to all of you. This will involve details about word limits and other aspects of the online exams.

Third, once you have received all the guidance, we will make sure to respond to any of the queries you might have — whether individual questions or via your student reps.

We appreciate your patience and once again extend our very best wishes for you, your families and your friends.
