Upcoming Talk with Grace Blakeley

Grace Blakeley joins the School of Politics and International Relations for the first Public Speaker talk of the term. On Wednesday 12 February, Grace will be speaking on the subject of her new book ‘Stolen: How to save the world from financialisation’, which explores how the recovery from the 2007-08 crash mostly benefitted the 1% and how democratic socialism can save us from a new crash and climate catastrophe.

Grace Blakeley is an author and economics commentator and was appointed the economics commentator at The New Statesman.

Join us for what will be an engaging talk and discussion, followed by a drinks reception in Keynes Foyer. The talk will be taking place in Keynes Lecture Theatre 1 at 17:00.

The next Public Speaker will be Angus Lapsley on Thursday 26 March at 18:00.
