‘This Difficult Place: Creating space for justice and peace: A Quaker in Hebron’ – talk by Alwyn Knight – 12 May 2016

On Thursday 12 May 2016, Mr Alwyn Knight will be delivering a talk entitled ‘This Difficult Place: Creating space for justice and peace: A Quaker in Hebron’ on his experiences in accompanying Palestinians in the Israeli occupied city of Hebron.

Alwayn Knight is a Quaker who has been accompanying Palestinians in Hebron under Israeli occupation and he will talk about his experiences there and what conditions are like now in the divided city of Hebron, which in many ways is a microcosm of the Occupied Territories. The talk should be of interest to students of politics, IR, conflict, peace and the Middle East, and also to anyone who would like to know more about Quaker action in Palestine.

The format will be a talk for about 45 minutes and then questions and answers.
