The School held a Graduation drinks and canape reception on Friday 21st November at The Marlowe Theatre’s Green Room, in order to celebrate our students fantastic achievements. They have worked extremely hard over the past fews years and the reception was a great way to congratulate the students.
The graduation reception also gave the School an opportunity to announce the special achivements of particular students within the School. Professor Richard Whitman was delighted to present the selected students with a certificate and prize. Thomas Watts who studied on the MA in International Relations won the John Burton Prize for best overall performance and The ‘Global Society’ Journal Prize for the beest MA dissertation. Two of our International Conflict Analysis Students Anja Teichert and Markus Breitweg both were awarded a special commendation certificate from the School for an outstanding MA dissertation. Finally, Victor Poirer was awarded the Best overall performance in the BA in Politics and International Relations (Bidiplome).
We hope that being a student at Kent has equipped you with all the skills neccessary for a successful future and we hope to see some of you again for future study.
