{"id":19,"date":"2020-09-07T11:49:26","date_gmt":"2020-09-07T10:49:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/physical-sciences-library-guide\/?page_id=19"},"modified":"2024-02-28T17:29:40","modified_gmt":"2024-02-28T17:29:40","slug":"physic-astrophysics","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/physical-sciences-library-guide\/physic-astrophysics\/","title":{"rendered":"Finding journal articles"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>Journal articles<\/h4>\n<p>The easiest way to find journal articles is to type a few keywords for your topic in\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/librarysearch.kent.ac.uk\/\">LibrarySearch.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>If we subscribe to it in print or digital a link will be provided to help you find it.<\/p>\n<p>If you have a specific journal article you are looking for you can use\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/scholar.google.co.uk\/\">Google Scholar.<\/a>\u00a0 This will show you if it is freely available elsewhere, you can also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/guides\/find-and-access-library-e-resources#if-you-find-resources-on-the-web\">set your browser to link to any content we subscribe to<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To check if the Library has access to a particular e-journal title, or to browse journals, use<a href=\"https:\/\/browzine.com\/libraries\/2919\/subjects?sort=title\"> BrowZine.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>You can also use a subject-specific database like those suggested below.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>E resources<\/h4>\n<p>You may also want to look for other types of information or search through a large index of articles, books and conference papers.
