Thanks to a great engagement rate, the School is pleased to announce it had donated over \u00a3400 to the five nominated charities.<\/p>\n<h3>Making a Difference Around the World<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/spskent\/2020\/01\/29\/make-your-voice-heard-and-sps-will-donate-to-charity\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">In January, we announced that students could choose from five<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/spskent\/2020\/01\/29\/make-your-voice-heard-and-sps-will-donate-to-charity\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> different charities<\/a>, from providing support in local communities, to providing essential funds to people and wildlife affected by the bush fires in Australia earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re delighted to share that a fantastic number of students at Nats participated and provided their feedback through the surveys.<\/p>\n<h3>Nats Charity Donations<\/h3>\n<p>The total donations are split as follows:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.studentminds.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Student Minds<\/a> \u2013 \u00a387.00<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rfs.nsw.gov.au\/about-us\/fundraising\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">New South Wales Rural Fire Service<\/a> \u2013 \u00a379.00<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wires.org.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">WIRES Wildlife Rescue<\/a> \u2013 \u00a386.00<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.catchinglives.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Catching Lives<\/a> \u2013 \u00a381.00<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/canterburyfoodbank.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Canterbury Food Bank<\/a> \u2013 \u00a382.00<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>The total amount to be donated is a fantastic \u00a3415.00!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We would like to thank each and every student who took part in sharing their opinions and feedback in the surveys.
