{"id":116,"date":"2018-08-31T15:58:53","date_gmt":"2018-08-31T14:58:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/pharmacy\/?p=116"},"modified":"2018-08-31T15:58:53","modified_gmt":"2018-08-31T14:58:53","slug":"dr-gubala-and-dr-edwards-work-with-the-intereg-network-with-the-university-of-rouen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/pharmacy\/2018\/08\/31\/dr-gubala-and-dr-edwards-work-with-the-intereg-network-with-the-university-of-rouen\/","title":{"rendered":"Dr Gubala and Dr Edwards work with the INTEREG network with the University of Rouen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.msp.ac.uk\/about\/staff\/chemistry\/gubala_vladimir.html\">Vladimir Gubala<\/a> and<a href=\"https:\/\/www.msp.ac.uk\/about\/staff\/chemistry\/edwards_alison.html\"> Alison Edwards<\/a> were involved in an INTEREG network with the <a href=\"http:\/\/rouenuniversity.univ-rouen.fr\/\">University of Rouen<\/a> (France) and a number of other universities and companies both in France and in the South East of England.\u00a0 The network ran from 2012-2015 and led to a continued academic collaboration with Helene Castel (Rouen).\u00a0 The school has a PhD studentship which work on this collaborative project (Voula Kasapidou, started October 2015). The student is working on responsive gel-like material to trap invasive glioma cells, which is a continuation of activities from the INTERREG project.
