Together with the school of psychology, Julie Van de Vyver has organised monthly writing retreats for Psychology PhD students.
The retreats are full day sessions aimed at making progress on your writing.
They are structured in a way to improve productivity and get support from other students around you.
The school has extended funding for these sessions after their incredible success.
For more info about what the sessions entail and what they are like you can read this blog post from kent psychology PhD students: http://grouplab.wordpress.com/2013/07/29/the-war-on-writing-retreat-to-the-yurt/
Max 10 people can attend per session
Dates for your diaries are (Mondays):
November 25th
December 9th
January 13th
February 17th
March 17th

To sign up for the autumn term session please go to this doodle poll: http://doodle.com/sgmvmxw9hqy6m76r#table
We will organise transport nearer the time of the sessions (we usually go by car and get petrol reimbursed).
This is a great location to get lots done – you won’t have any internet connection, so no distractions.
Any questions please let me know.
All the best,
Julie
