Abstract: “This talk will discuss about Bayesian hierarchical modelling in blood pressure data. In the first part a data exploration will be shown in order to explain the challenges. In the second part we will see how Gaussian Markov Random Fields(GMRF) can be used in blood pressure data since are usually used as precision matrices in prior distributions. Lastly, a variety of different precision matrices, from a first order random walk to a precision matrix in a torus, will be explained for a better grasp of the methodology.”
