Title: An introduction to the Riemann-Hilbert approach to orthogonal polynomials
Abstract: In this talk I will give a superficial introduction to how the direct problem of orthogonal polynomials is reformulated as a Riemann-Hilbert problem. The remaining time is left to show examples of what you can learn about the polynomials by doing this.
