Title: A complex Lie algebra of type G2.
Abstract: In this talk, we will discuss some basics of one of the exceptional root systems called G2. If time permits us, we will proceed to discuss the positive part of the quantum enveloping algebra of this root system (i.e. U_q^+(G2)).
