Title: An overview of Deep Learning.
Abstract: Have you ever wondered how Google’s models can perform speech recognition, image classification and robotic manipulation? The answer is deep learning, a subset of machine learning aimed at solving extremely challenging tasks using large amount of observations, which would be infeasible using all the older techniques. In this talk, I will give an overview of the quintessential deep learning model, the deep feedforward network, how to train this model, and how this model can be adapted to each specific application.
