Parenting Culture, Childhood, and Adult-child Relations

Whilst ‘Parenting Culture’ and ‘Childhood’ are now well-established fields of multi-disciplinary social science scholarship, so far, the tensions and resonances between these two bodies of work have not been significantly explored, particularly in global contexts.

Organised by Charlotte Faircloth and Rachel Rosen (UCL) an event was held in 2018 to explore these issues

A special issue of Families, Relationships and Societies as a result of the conference will be published in 2020
