The University of Kent is pleased to be hosting the Succeed Programme for a second year for Year 12 students in KaMCOP schools.<\/p>\n
The University of Kent Succeed Programme is a year-long programme designed to help young people in Kent and Medway explore the opportunities and challenges offered by higher education in a safe, inclusive environment with the support of friendly and knowledgeable university staff and student ambassadors. The programme combines information, exploration and experience to give\u00a0students a broad view of university and will encourage\u00a0them to decide whether it is the right pathway for them.<\/p>\n
The Succeed Programme will also help\u00a0students to grow in confidence by exploring personal strengths and developing communication skills that will allow\u00a0them to make confident and informed decisions about their future. Our aim is to help\u00a0students succeed in\u00a0their sixth form studies and\u00a0Level 3 qualifications whatever you decide to do when you leave school.<\/p>\n
We encourage any Year 12 students who are interested to apply, however, should the programme be oversubscribed, priority will be given to students who meet at least one<\/strong> of the following criteria:<\/p>\n To apply for a place on the programme please complete the application form<\/strong> <\/a>and return it to the University of Kent by Monday 26th November<\/strong><\/p>\n In addition, the department is\u00a0looking to book promotional talks at schools\u00a0within Year 12 assemblies. We encourage schools to book these talks within the first two weeks back from the half-term.
