{"id":590,"date":"2018-01-22T14:46:12","date_gmt":"2018-01-22T14:46:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/outreach-news\/?p=590"},"modified":"2018-01-22T14:46:12","modified_gmt":"2018-01-22T14:46:12","slug":"arts-academy-kent-school-of-architecture","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.kent.ac.uk\/outreach-news\/2018\/01\/22\/arts-academy-kent-school-of-architecture\/","title":{"rendered":"Arts Academy &#8211; Kent School of Architecture"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kent School of Architecture is hosting a free Saturday Arts Academy to inspire young people in years 9, 10 and 11 who are interested in the arts, and give them an opportunity to develop new skills and open doors to the creative industry.<\/p>\n<p>There are five workshops students can participate in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Saturday 24th February 2018: \u2018Creative Thinking\u2019 with John Brewer and John Ingledew<\/li>\n<li>Saturday 3rd March 2018: \u20183D Digital Workshop\u2019 with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/architecture\/people\/profiles\/soosaipillai-julien.html\">Julien Soosaipillai<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Saturday 10th March 2018: \u2018Virtual Reality\u2019 with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/architecture\/people\/profiles\/griffin-howard.html\">Howard Griffin<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Saturday 17th March 2018: \u2018Imaginary Models\u2019 with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/architecture\/people\/profiles\/hobbs-rebecca.html\">Rebecca Hobbs<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Saturday 24th March 2018: \u2018Inventive Drawing\u2019 with Patrick Crouch<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in attending the Saturday Arts Academy, please email \u2018<a href=\"mailto:architecture@kent.ac.uk?subject=Saturday Arts Academy\">architecture@kent.ac.uk<\/a>\u2019 with the subject \u2018Saturday Arts Academy\u2019 and which session(s) you would like to sign up for, or any queries you may have about the sessions.
