Point them towards our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kent.ac.uk\/head-start\">Head Start webpages<\/a>, where they\u2019ll find resources, guidance, and support to help them prepare for university life.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re also running <strong>Head Start Live on Wednesday 24th September 2025, 10am\u20135pm.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This will be a full-day, on-campus event designed to help new students (and those supporting them) make a smooth transition into university. Taking place the week before Welcome Week, <strong>Head Start Live<\/strong>\u00a0will include sessions on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Commuting and travel options<\/li>\n<li>Moving into accommodation<\/li>\n<li>Being a mature learner<\/li>\n<li>Advice for supporters (parents, carers, guardians)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It\u2019s a fantastic opportunity for your students to meet others from Kent, Medway, Essex, London, East Sussex, and Surrey, build confidence, and start to feel at home before term begins.
