The Kent School of Architecture\u00a0(KSA)\u00a0would like to invite students from KMPF and partner\u00a0schools to a\u00a0new\u00a0Saturday Arts Academy beginning in January 2017. The Arts Academy is open to students in years 10 and 11.<\/p>\n
This a\u00a0free Saturday\u00a0arts\u00a0programme, funded by the University and sponsored by local architectural practices, which\u00a0aims\u00a0to inspire young people interested in the creative arts and open doors for them into the creative sector. The weekly workshops\u00a0which will help\u00a0participants to develop new skills, will be run by industry professionals and practitioners, including artists, designers and lecturers who work in and around Kent. They will take\u00a0place\u00a0on the University of Kent’s Canterbury campus.<\/p>\n
The course will run for thirteen sessions between January and June 2017 on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until\u00a01:00 p.m.<\/p>\n
Kent School of Architecture\u00a0are looking for students from KMPF and\u00a0partner schools who would benefit from the Saturday Arts Academy programme, who are interested in the arts, and would like an opportunity to get creative!<\/p>\n
As a taster, KSA are\u00a0offering\u00a0schools the chance to book an\u00a0in-school workshop from mid-November to mid-December, to give students an idea of what the Saturday Arts Academy will entail.<\/p>\n
